cfk pv’s plus this week
Posted on: Monday, October 24th, 2005Hi there FSGB here - Below is what Calum F. Kerr is up-to in the next month or so come to the pv’s! This week is pretty quiet I am preparing a lot of work but…come to Foundry on Wednesday, also on Thursday several friends have solo shows, Paul Johnson at One-in-the-other, Dingley Place, off City Road, I’m starting there at 6 then heading down London Bridge way, might pop into Laura Barlett Gallery pv at Leathermarket St as near to pv of John Grey (whom Wayne at least knows), at Advanced Graphics, 27 Long Lane, SE1 on until 8.30, then pub, want to get there for 7.30, see you around at these, or at any of the below.

1) P-Art Fair (Plans for a Future Performance Art Fair): Expanded from work at the Berliner Kunstsalon last month, you can draw and write opinions/ideas regarding the future of art fairs (if you see one) onto the moving sandwich board that will be outside (and visiting) Frieze/Zoo/Pilot/Scope Art Fairs at various times between 19th & 24th October depending on their various dates see the following links for details -

http://www.pilotlondon.org/ - http://www.scope-art.com/ As these develop they will appear at the Hackney Artists Show #1 downstairs at The Foundry, 380 Old Street from 21st October to 31st October 05 (pub hours). Today is the last day of the Fairs. Also view the various ideas and drawings on a special performance evening at the Foundry on Wednesday 26th October from 8pm including 10pm John E. Cashmoney & the Lonesome Cowboys from Hell playing live.
2) The Little Artists present ‘Contemporary Artists play Pictionary®’ - 1st-5th November. 1 of 50 artists chosen for a silent auction and exhibition in aid of the National Autistic Society at the Agency Gallery, 18 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3PB
Private View on Tuesday 1st November 6-9pm.
3) A Night on Earth - 1 of the artists responding through painting, objects, text, etc to describing a night out anywhere in the world - curated by Harry Pye - book to be published - Mine is about Bulgaria. At Oh! Art, Derbyshire St, off Bethnal Green Rd.
Private View on Thursday 3rd November 6-9pm (inc Lime-based performance by cfk)
4) Hackney Artists #2 - Performing and exhibiting at this second group show of the Hackney Artists (nb not all from Hackney) at the Tab Centre, 18-20 Hackney Road, Behind Old Tabernacle Church, nr Mildmay Hospital.
Private View: Monday 7th November 7-9pm. Exhibition open 6-12th November (I believe 12-6pm).
5) ‘Acid Drops & Sugar Candy’ (19th Nov-18th Dec) exhibiting in joint show at Foster Art and Transition Gallery around the theme of excess/over-indulgance producing a weapons pack (with various settings) that will fire sweets - there will be a performance demonstration throughout each of the private views (free candy provided)
