An interesting exhibition of the people and places that have been ‘lost’ due to building the Olympic site.
The paintings and voice recording of residents, accurately demonstrate the loss of culture whilst progress occurs.
It is with credit that Allan Williams found funding from several public bodies as well as being able to put on the show in Stratford town hall, which is also involved in the hosting of the Olympics.
That duality of interests brings the show alive, in amongst the meeting rooms where local government meet and planning applications are dealt with.
Freedom of speech in action? see for yourself, Stratford town hall till January ‘09.
