fadnoimage59 Notes for a future work by 60|40 Private View Monday 20th July, 6.30-8.30pm
As part of Siobhan Davies Studios regular programme of visual art exhibitions, this month they present Notes for a future work, a new show by 60|40, an independent artists collective, founded by Clare Twomey, David Clarke and Tracey Rowledge. The exhibition will be displayed throughout the building with each of the artists responding to the space in a unique way.

Inspired by the creative movement that takes place in the dance studios, the artists explore how movement can be held and communicated through objects using their individual defined disciplines within the applied arts: ceramics, silversmithing and bookbinding. Each work on the outer boundaries of their discipline and in this exhibition they aim to expand the environment for experimental applied arts and create the first of what will be an annual exhibition, the Starting Point Series.
