SIKKA Art Fair 2012 Call for Submissions is open until February 10th 2012.

Applications are open to UAE-based artists and artist collectives interested in producing new work for presentation at SIKKA, taking place March 15th- 25th, 2012, at the historic Al Bastakiya.

SIKKA 2012 features an entirely commissioned programme of new work by Emirati and local artists, plus an open-studio exhibition exhibition from the Artists-in-Residence (A.i.R) Dubai, an international programme for artists and curators based in House 11, at Al Bastakiya. Exclusive events specially created for the fair or made public for the first time include live music performances, research areas, interactive food gatherings and educational activities.
