Addressing iconic brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Tiffany is far from new for Michael St. John, who just completed his eleventh solo show in New York. The artist has played with messages and logos in his work for years, in such pieces as the Philip Guston Klan head, Takashi Murakami Louis Vuitton bag and in the combination of Kurt Cobain with kittens or the flattened Tiffany’s box abstraction.
St. John’s latest project for GREY AREA consists of 14 unique bunnies, ranging from matte white to black with Chanel logo.
