s[edition], the pioneering online platform for buying and collecting contemporary art in digital format, has launched a platform for all artists to directly price and edition artworks digitally.

The move builds on s[edition]’s existing relationship with more than 50 of the world’s most renowned artists including Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Shepard Fairey, Wim Wenders, Yoko Ono, Jenny Holzer, Lawrence Weiner, Christian Boltanski, Francesco Clemente and Peter Saville among many others. All artists working with a wide range of digital technologies including moving image, motion graphic, photography, generative art, illustration and design can now benefit from the s[edition] platform to start selling their works to a global audience of digital collectors and enthusiasts.

Artists accepted on to the platform will receive 50% of the net revenues of all works sold.

The s[edition] platform gives artists the opportunity to create profiles, describe artworks, and set price & edition sizes. Artists launch their works by inviting friends, fans and collectors to their exclusive 24-hour online private view, giving them preferential access and pricing. Artworks purchased from s[edition] can be viewed on a wide range of connected screens and devices, transforming them into a personal art gallery.

Each artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity to provide secure ownership
