Swedish artist Jonas Lund’s latest project, ‘We See In Every Direction’, is a synchronized browser where users battle it out for control.

We See In Every Direction Official Surf Party from JONAS LUND on Vimeo.

Swedish artist Jonas Lund‘s project ‘We See In Every Direction’ is a synchronized web browser that allows people around the world to be online together in one browser window. The URL, cursors and text boxes are shared across all simultaneous users. The browser transforms surfing the internet from an intimate and personal experience for the individual into a collaborative environment. Each user appears as a cursor and can click around to different URLs, type in the search bar, or just watch everyone else’s activity.

Last month, Lund held an official surf party and lots of people took part. You can see what happened as they fought for control of the browser in the video above. Via:PSFK
